We're back!!

The blog has been silent for a while now....there's been lots of good fun to be had! There are a few new posts here, so be sure to scroll down a ways. We finished the cabinets in the office, my mom has been staying with us for a while which let me get the playroom painted (finally!!) Easter was a blast, and spring is here at last. We've been outside most of the time and here are a few pics of the kids playing in the backyard...

Anyone for a wagon ride??

A visit to the nursery...time to plant!!

Hot tub time!!

Happy Easter!!

We're back from our annual trip to the Hathaway ranch for Easter. Here is a slide show of the big egg hunt, Meagan's first. She really got into it and managed to find 15 eggs. Tony and Maisy worked together and found 46 eggs between them. Lots of fun...

Playrooms & Cabinets

Cabinet construction and installation is finally finished!! So it took us quite a bit longer than we thought it would, but in the end it was worth it. Now all that's left is filling the shelves with all the stuff that has been stashed all over the house waiting for its new home. Things went better than we expected, so I think we'll build a bunch more for the dining room in the fall. Here are a few photos of what's been done so far....

Also finished is the playroom. My mom has been here with us for the last week watching the kids so I could get some projects finished. One of them was painting the playroom, installing new blinds and making curtains. I still need to install some shelves, but its basically done.

First haircut

I have been resisting having Meagan's hair cut for the longest time- I couldn't stand the thought of losing those baby curls. (Tony's hair had the super cute little baby curls until we cut it, now its straight) Her hair had gotten REALLY long- it was down past the middle of her back and it was a mess! So on this last trip to the salon Meagan had her hair cut too- 4" were lopped off the ends. Now it is still curly (yea!!) and much neater. Unfortunately I couldn't get a good picture of how long it was, but I got a few good ones of the actual cut.

The rat's nest...

What do you think you are doing??- I think I'd better keep a close eye on this one.....

Hahahahaha- I got the lollypop- and no one is going to stop me from enjoying this one!!

(This is not something I'm proud of, but I handed her the lolly pop with the wrapper on thinking she couldn't get it off and she'd just play with it....silly me! She had it unwrapped and in her mouth before I could get up to take it back. Oh well, what's a little high fructose corn syrup and red dye #40??)

All Done! and its still curly!!
