Swim Lessons

Tony has been attending swim lessons for a little more than two weeks now and has progressed nicely. He started out by perfecting what we call the velcro pose where he attaches himself tighter than velcro around your neck and refuses to let go. He is now much more comfortable in the water- so much so he dunked his head under the water all by himself last night. With any luck he'll be swimming like a fish by the end of summer!

Hungry HIPPOS

Tony has been very into playing games lately. Candy Land, Crazy Eights and the Little Engine that Could are all played daily around here. The latest addition to our game gallery is Hungry Hippos- and it is still as hysterical as I remember it as a kid. RaRa and Uncle Richard got in on the action last week after dinner.

The Bocce Court is FINISHED!!

Tom is a happy man- after a little more than a year's hiatus, his bocce court is back in business. Everyone pictched in Sunday to spread the decomposed granite, Tom and Tony packed it all down with the vibraplate (Mommy missed the pictures or Tony bouncing along behind the vibraplate- bummer!) and Chad and Michelle came down to toss the 'Polenta' and try it out.

Blast from the Past....

After Memorial Day weekend, mom and dad were cleaning out the garage and came across some old photo albums. I just had to scan some of these and post them for giggles. Enjoy!

The last day of Tiny Tots

Thursday was Tony's last day of Tiny Tots. They celebrated with a slide show of all the activities from the past year and then had a big party with slip-n-slides, sprinklers and great big waterslide. Our Tony was so brave, he actually climbed up the big slide and went down without a second of doubt. It surprised the heck out of me, I thought sure I was going to have to climb up and help him down. (For those who don't know, he hates being in the water- bath time around here sounds like we are torturing him) He has been telling everyone he comes across all about it- especially how he "got water in his eyes, but he's ok now" Maybe his swim lessons next week will go ok after all....we'll keep you posted!

Meagan is 7 months old!!

I'm 7 months old now!!
I have 2 teeth, I like to sit up and play "So Big!"
I have monkey toes- they are just right to hold my toys to I can
play with both hands...
Life is good!

Memorial Day Fun...

Hi!! We've been out of touch for a while, so here are some pictures from our adventures at the lake for Memorial Day weekend. Tony and Tom both caught fish, which Tony can't wait for Papa to smoke for him.

While we were at the car show on Saturday, Tony got himself some strawberry shortcake...Daddy thought it looked mighty tasty...

Enjoy!!

Patio Construction

Tom has been working hard to finish up the patio. The concrete is all in place, its irrigated and the soil is place. A few more plants and its good to go.....
